Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Interrogated website, game, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Jamlark, LLC("Jamlark," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

2. The Service

Interrogated is a daily detective puzzle in which players interrogate AI-generated witnesses to solve fictional cases. All cases, characters, and outcomes are fictional and generated for entertainment purposes only. Any resemblance to real persons or events is coincidental.

3. Subscriptions & Billing (Stripe)

The Service offers an optional paid subscription ("Pro") at $4.99 USD per month. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement and Stripe's Privacy Policy.

  • Recurring billing. Pro subscriptions automatically renew each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.
  • Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds for duplicate charges or verified billing errors.
  • Promotional codes. Promo codes are subject to the terms displayed at checkout (expiry, redemption limits, eligibility) and may be revoked if abused.
  • Price changes. We may change subscription pricing on prospective renewals. We will notify you in advance of any price increase that affects your subscription.
  • Taxes. Prices shown exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any taxes imposed on your purchase.
  • Card data. Jamlark does not store your full payment card number. Card data is collected and stored by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

For free accounts, the Service displays third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense and its advertising partners. By using the Service without a Pro subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Google and its partners use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
  • Third-party advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads. Jamlark does not endorse and is not responsible for advertiser products, services, or claims.
  • Pro subscribers do not see ads served through the Service.

Use of Google advertising is governed by the Google Advertising Policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or extract system prompts from the AI witnesses (e.g., prompt-injection attempts, requests to reveal solutions or internal instructions).
  • Use automated systems, scrapers, or bots to access the Service without our written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute case content or any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
  • Submit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All case content, characters, branding, code, and original assets are owned by Jamlark, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses generative AI to produce witness responses, narratives, and case details. AI output may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unintentionally offensive. Nothing produced by the Service constitutes legal, medical, financial, or professional advice, and all content is fictional.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. JAMLARK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAMLARK, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID JAMLARK IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jamlark, LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice or cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated effective date or via in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Jamlark, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in that jurisdiction for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
